The submission/ capturing of all required mandatory information i.e. first name, middle name (if applicable), maiden name (if applicable), surname, ID/ Passport number, personal mobile phone number, personal email address, name/s of academic institutions attended, name of current and previous employers, job titles, country of residence, province/ state of residence. Should the mandatory information not be provided this may result is in a report being produced with a null result. Should a null result be determined, the full cost of the request report will be levied. Destroy/ delete all social media reporting information relating to the data subject concerned, once this information has been used and there is no further need thereof The record of personal information will be stored securely and will not be retained any longer than is necessary for achieving the legitimate purpose for which it will be collected and processed in terms hereof. Furnish the contact information of the service provider to the concerned data subject/s should an inquiry be made Ensure that all data subject/s candidates are informed of and sign a consent document, acknowledging such checks will be conducted, with public domain social and digital media content and information accessed. Comply with its duties in terms of the POPI Act Basic Conditions of Employment Act (No. 75 of 1997) Labour Relations Act (No. 66 of 1995); Employment Equity Act (No. 55 of 1998) Provide the service provider with an accurate list of representatives who have the necessary authority to request a Social media check from the service provider Report submissions are to take place during business hours (Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00). Requests received outside of business hours will be allocated as received on the next working day.
